We at Caret IT Solutions are seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager with proven expertise in enterprise ERP solution sales across international markets. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by cultivating new business relationships, executing consultative sales strategies, and positioning our ERP solutions (Odoo preferred) as the optimal choice for business transformation. This role offers significant earning potential and career advancement for a results-oriented sales professional with strong technical aptitude.


​Responsibility 


  • Market Expansion: Strategically penetrate high-value international markets (North America, Europe, Middle East) to establish and grow our global client portfolio 
  • Revenue Generation: Own the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and successful close
  • Solution Consulting: Conduct compelling product demonstrations that clearly articulate our platform's unique value proposition and ROI potential
  • Business Development: Implement multi-channel outreach strategies including targeted campaigns, social selling, and strategic networking
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous CRM records with accurate forecasting and pipeline analysis to drive predictable revenue streams 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with implementation, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless client transitions and identify market-driven product enhancements
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and competitive offerings to refine positioning and sales approach
  • Client Solutions: Develop customized proposals addressing specific business challenges with comprehensive implementation roadmaps 
  • Performance Analytics: Leverage data analytics tools to identify patterns, optimize sales strategies, and maximize conversion rates
  • Market Representation: Represent the company at international trade shows, industry events, and client sites as needed


​Qualification & Expertise


  • Proven Performance: 3-5 years of documented success selling ERP/enterprise software solutions with consistent quota achievement
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Odoo or comparable ERP platforms and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Enterprise Sales Acumen: Demonstrated experience navigating complex sales cycles and building consensus among multiple decision makers
  • Global Business Understanding: Knowledge of international business practices, cultural nuances, and regional market dynamics
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with polished presentation abilities in English (additional languages a plus)
  • Digital Toolset Mastery: Proficiency with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and business analytics platforms
  • Business Analysis: Strong capability with MS Excel, data visualisation, and financial ROI modelling
  • Adaptability: Self-motivated professional comfortable with ambiguity and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel Capability: Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25-30% of time) for strategic client engagements
